$100,000 #GivingTuesday Charity Giveaway
To celebrate #GivingTuesday, November 27, 2018, we will be sending $10 for every retweet of Benevity’s #GivingTuesday video that @mentions an eligible charity. Why? Because this year, we want people to look for the good in the world, find the good in the world and be the good in the world.
Step-by-Step How to Participate
Choose a charity that you’d like to support.
a. Be as specific as possible, especially if it’s a local chapter of an international organization i.e. American Red Cross of Colorado (@cowyredcross) vs American Red Cross (@RedCross).
Find the charity’s Twitter handle. You can do this a few ways:
a. Search for the charity on Twitter.
b. Visit the charity’s website, where they typically list their Twitter handle in the header or footer section with a little blue bird icon (fun fact, his name is actually Larry).
Visit @benevity on Twitter (we love followers too).
Look for our #GivingTuesday video tweet (hint, it’s pinned to our page).
Click the “retweet” icon
In the comment section, mention the charity you’d like the $10 to be sent to, the hashtag #BeTheGood, plus any note you’d like to include.
Pat yourself on the back! You’re part of the good in the world.
